With courses as beautiful as the stunning scenery surrounding them, our challenging Northumberland golf courses are a wonderful place to play for both novices and pros alike. And, because golf has been at the very heart of Matfen Hall for 30 years, we have a par-3 short course, a golf academy, a driving range and a purpose-built clubhouse to make sure our Hotel guests, visitors and members have the complete golfing experience.

The Course

An enjoyable test for players of all abilities, our championship golf course incorporates challenging features from the dry stone â€˜Ha-Haâ€™ to the fast-flowing River Pont. Situated in an idyllic spot within the beautiful Northumberland countryside, our 27-hole course is open 7 days a week for the convenience of all golfers.
